Flaming Gorge 2005
Jared Macgillis and I had a awesome trip to the gorge this June.  In 2 1/2 days we caught several nice macks up to 27.5 pounds. We caught them trolling from 30 to 45 feet in about 60 to 80 feet of water and our best day was 13 hooked and 11 landed with seven over 20 pounds. We trolled the Medium XX in White Perl, Large Green Kokanee and Large White Pearl.  I hope you enjoy the photos.  - Mike Shaw

Flaming Gorge 2004 - Mike and Aarin Shaw Fished the Gorge for 3 days in early June. There was some tough weather brewing at the lake, but they managed some nice fish, capped off by a 32lber. Click to read more.

Night time Slammering - During a one month period, five anglers on one lake landed no fewer than 30 largemouth bass over 6lbs on the 7", 9", and 12" MS Slammer. On one night, three of those anglers combined for 5 bass on the Slammer that weighed 51.1lbs. Click to read more.

May 2002 - Flaming Gorge Utah - Mike Shaw and Jim Eck fished Flaming Gorge for one week in May of 2002. The target was giant lake trout and the goal was to catch them on the big 9 and 12 inch MS Slammers. Previous years have produced many fish in the 10 to nearly 30 pound range for Mike and crew and this year was no exception with 18 fish boated during the week ranging from 12 to 20lbs.
